View (from property/room) in Parador de Ubeda
The building is beautiful, and not overly renovated. The situation is exceptional, on a major, beautiful, historical pedestrian square. Although I reserved the cheapest room, I had the pleasant surprise to be accommodated in a very large, lavishly furnished room, with a huge bathroom and entrance hall. It was very quiet, too. The air conditioning was almost totally silent. I felt very much at home. The restaurant is excellent. The maître de was absolutely perfect.

Perfect place for a couple to relax and enjoy a very unique Spanish culture. This hotel showcases the history of Úbeda incredibly well. The furniture, artwork, patio and big staircase to connect to the second floor really stood out as unique. The breakfast was also fantastic, great options with a buffet style plus anything you like hot from the kitchen made to order.

Jessica

Impressive, old palace in a charming town. The building feels very authentic, unlike some other paradors in Spain remodeled in a “too contemporary”, generic fashion. Squeaky floors, heavy door key, original floor tiles remembering hundreds of years of Spanish history and an impressive indoor patio complete the unforgettable impression.

Breakfast and regional specialty dishes were very good, as was the enthusiasm of the waiters and staff. The location was excellent in relation to the sights of the town, but hard to get to on our first night through narrow streets. The building is a work of art in itself.

William

The building itself is spectacular and its location is superb. The restaurant staff were very attentive and both dinners were excellent. We appreciated the window in the bathroom and its view! The bedroom had proper wooden shutters to ensure a good night's sleep.
